August 2013 Instagram

Well. It's definitely back to work. I just realised I never posted clips from August. And here we are, nearly done with September! Maybe with September nearly done, I'll remember to do next months :)

August seems like forever ago.

We took Zoe and Cole on a day trip up the coast and over to Strangford. (Cole was very suspicious of the ferry). We spent ages looking for our way over to the tower below. The Irish aren't known for their well posted signs :)

I spent a full 3 weeks sick after Dublin and the doctor finally gave me some medicine that was safe to take. After taking the first dose, I could feel it clearing up. Thanks Dublin, for always getting me sick.

Daire could finally hear little Alice heart beats when he put his head on my stomach. So there was a lot of that. We had our official 20 week scan too. Everything is going really well and they moved my due date to January 9th because she's wee. We're still going by the original date because I know it's correct. So I'll be 26 weeks on Saturday!

After Dublin, we spent a lot of time hanging with the puppies in bed and trying to ignore the fact that it was almost time to go back to work. I finally got around to reading Let the Right One In. I absolutely loved it. I've worked my way up to book 15 since the end of May. Engleby was also really good. I'm still shocked by the ending. Generation X? Not so much. I've never been so bored with a book that was so short.

Daire nearly managed to break his foot as well. That was also not fun. Gimpy and Preggo here were fairly useless for about the first week of school. Which also brought the return of so many tired of grumpy photos of me:

My belly has started to eat my feet as well, but it actually hasn't been too bad being back to work. Being pregnant has actually given me low blood pressure and in general, I feel a lot less stressed. She's clearly getting that from her Father :) It also helps that some of my favourite people at work are so kind. I truly appreciate the people who are so happy to have my help. Although flowers are not necessary, it's still very nice :)
